Tom Penhale on electric wind instrument (EWI) and Chris Berlin on guitar perform solos on "Long Road to You". They are part of a folk/rock Buddhist chant dance band called Satigata. Here they are at Milton Academy playing to a chapel filled with adolescent energy.

Here's Tom Penhale jamming on the EWI to "Clocks" by Coldplay. All summer long he had wanted to play music with his partner, Meira Appell, at a park in Newton Center, MA where a piano has been placed. With the newly-discovered international #PlayMusicOnThePorchDay as inspiration, he finally did it!

A very nice guy named Tim came over and started playing "Clocks" by Coldplay on the piano. First Tom played flute with him and then switched over to the electronic wind instrument (EWI). Here's an Instagram minute of that EWI jam.

Tom Penhale performs "Right Here, Right Now" at the Rowe Center during Work that Reconnects workshop led by Joanna Macy.   The lead vocal and flute are performed live to background tracks and an audience with maracas. The opening verse, "Woke up this mornin', feelin' half dead...." is sung here without background tracks for the first time. You can read more about Tom's experience at the workshop on his Blog.
